Lena is the Director of Program Management & Media at Legal Momentum, where she was previously both Program Manager and Program Associate for LM's National Judicial Education Program (NJEP). As Director of Program Management & Media, Lena ensures that all Legal Department projects are running smoothly and that LM's goals, mission, and vision are being met and upheld. Lena also maintains and updates LM's website, manages LM's federal grants, helps Development write and file new grant applications, and also works with Lynn Hecht Schafran and Jennifer Becker on NJEP projects.
Lena has a background in women's rights, redistricting, and Fourteenth Amendment constitutional law. She was a data analyst at the National Committee for an Effective Congress, a research assistant to Professor Steven G. Calabresi of Northwestern Law School, and a summer intern at the National Immigrant Women's Advocacy Project. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a degree in Classics-Latin. Lena published an article on 1982 Supreme Court case Plyler v. Doe, wrote two short articles on Augustan and Carolingian Latin poetry for the Brown Classical Journal, and authored numerous pieces on Supreme Court jurisprudence for the Brown Political Review.
