Internships and Fellowships
Legal Internship Program
We offer internships to current students enrolled in law school. Legal Interns assist with legal research, prospective client interviews, drafting pleadings, and other aspects of litigation, in addition to supporting the development of public education and policy advocacy materials on a range of women's rights legal issues. Positions are available in our New York City offices. Legal internships are generally unpaid and students are expected to have funding from their schools, or to be enrolled in a course which awards academic credit for the internship experience. Internship applications are accepted for the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Development | Communications Internship Program
Follow in the communications footsteps of past Legal Momentum Board of Director Betty Friedan, author of The Feminine Mystique credited with sparking the second wave of feminism – and join our Legal Momentum Development and Communications Team. This internship represents a tremendous opportunity for professional growth and career enhancement for non-profit development and communications professionals at the early stages of their careers. Be part of our team, the nation’s first legal defense and education fund for women on its 50th Anniversary growth trajectory.
